Returning to Connection

A Somatic Journey of Presence

Returning to Connection is a journey of reconnecting with your body and your inner wisdom

It invites you to slow down, listen, and arrive fully in the present moment. Supported by somatic practices and the holding presence of the group, you are invited to meet the quiet wisdom that lives within you. A series of sessions offers you the opportunity to explore your inner world in a safe and trauma-informed environment — both individually and together.

You will journey alongside a group where connection and a sense of togetherness deepen your self-understanding. We believe that each person’s path is unique. In this group, you are invited to receive reflection and explore the themes that feel most relevant for you right now.

The intention is to move gently, creating space for where you are — including incompleteness and the inner conflicts that are often part of being human — and to meet them with compassion. From this place, something essential can begin to emerge:the courage to live more fully in alignment with who you are.

You are warmly welcome to walk this path of growth together.

Session 1 — Returning to Connection

An evening of arriving, slowing down, and creating the foundation for the journey ahead. Through paired and small group exercises, we begin building safety, connection, and a deeper awareness of where you are in your life right now.

Session 2 — The Wisdom of the Body

A space to deepen your connection to your body, your emotions, and others. Together, we explore embodied awareness through practices such as authentic movement, relational exercises, and reflecting on your lived experience in connection with the group.

Session 3 — The Courage to Live as Yourself

An invitation to explore your authentic self and the patterns that may stand in the way of living more fully as you are. Through gentle self-inquiry and relational exploration, we bring awareness to different inner parts, needs, and possible inner conflicts.

This journey is offered in Finnish, but let us know if you are interested in participating in this type of group in English, either in Helsinki or online.

Facilitators

Ossi Konttinen is a facilitator whose approach draws from meditation, deep relaxation, Authentic Relating, Somatic Experiencing, and tantra. What connects all of these is the deeply human need to be met and to be fully present in the body, here and now.

Words shared about Ossi’s facilitation:

  • “I felt safe, supported, and accepted throughout the session. I experienced your guidance as very supportive in helping me stay present with my body. Your facilitation felt free of agenda — like an open space for exploration. I deeply appreciated the way you guided me to approach my body gently, through a sense of safety rather than pressure or challenge. That felt like a new and valuable perspective. I came into contact with insights that I believe will help me move forward — toward a deeper connection with and understanding of my body. I would warmly recommend this experience and would gladly come again myself. Thank you!”

  • “I felt that you were present with my experience in a relaxed, curious, and allowing way throughout the session. It felt very safe to put words to my experience, and I feel that your way of being present strongly supported my ability to stay sensitively connected to myself and to go deep within a relatively short amount of time. There was a strong sense of holding and permission in the space.”

  • “You have a very calm and validating way of working. It felt as if I was held within some kind of container where I could simply explore. You were also attentive if something became too much, and space was made for pauses when needed. I found that incredibly valuable — not going too deep too quickly. Your guidance felt light and never forceful, and it was especially meaningful to me when you expressed that nothing needed to arise. At the same time, your questions gently invited things to open up naturally. What felt particularly important was the balance between exploring bodily sensations and reflecting on the thoughts and inner material that emerged.”

Heidi Lampén’s facilitation draws from somatic and trauma-informed approaches, including Somatic Experiencing®, NARM®, and relational work. What connects all of these is the intention to create a safe space where you can slow down, feel, and be met as your authentic self.

Words shared about Heidi’s facilitation:

  • “What I especially appreciate in your facilitation is the way you bring presence and calmness into the space through your own example. I also feel that you are deeply attuned and aware of what is happening in people, which creates a sense of safety and ease as a participant — knowing that if needed, you will gently hold and guide the situation. I feel truly seen by you, in a very beautiful and deeply respectful way ❤️”

  • “Heidi offers a truly safe and grounded space where new insights can emerge, and where you can confidently explore even the more difficult parts of yourself. With Heidi, you feel safe and supported.”

  • “As a facilitator, Heidi carries an aura of grounded presence which brings a sense of safety and calmness to those sharing the space with her. She has the ability to notice subtle emotional and energetic changes in other people, which allows her unwavering but loving attention to focus on the aspects of self which may otherwise go unnoticed. She encourages taking steps towards the unknown while gently supporting the transformative process of overcoming the discomfort accompanied with it.”
