"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are."-Carl Jung
Heidi Lampén
therapist and somatic coach
Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
This work begins with presence, with being gently met, just as you are. I support people who are longing to feel more at home in themselves: people who are tired of holding it all together on the outside while feeling disconnected, anxious, or overwhelmed on the inside. My intention is to offer a steady, compassionate space where you can soften, reconnect with your body, and start to trust your own inner guidance again.
I believe that true transformation doesn’t come from striving or fixing, but from learning how to meet what’s already alive in you with honesty and compassion. When we stop pushing parts of ourselves away, we begin to feel more whole, more grounded, more free. That’s the heart of this work, and it’s an honor for me to walk alongside you in it as a fellow traveller.
This work comes from a place deep inside me, a strong belief that we all deserve to feel safe in ourselves and live our own truth in relaxed confidence.
For much of my life, I was deeply oriented toward the outside world, always doing, striving, performing, and holding everything together. From the outside, things looked successful, but inside, I felt disconnected from myself and not truly at home anywhere. I didn’t dare to imagine something different, and I wasn’t even sure what I wanted. It was only through burnout, stress, and grief that I was brought to a full stop, and everything began to unravel. When I finally started listening to my body, something began to shift. Slowly, I learned to be more honest with myself, staying with discomfort and turning toward the parts of me I had long avoided. I began to soften around who I am beneath the roles and expectations, and to meet the protective patterns that once kept me safe with more understanding and care. Through this inner listening, something deeper started to open. I reconnected with a quiet inner wisdom that longed for more depth, truth, and a sense of being at home within myself. It changed how I move through the world, allowed me to connect to life force energy, and sparked a genuine desire to support others on their own path.
My path has taken me through a range of practices and approaches, including meditation, breathwork, systemic work, shadow work, inner parts work, tantra, Gestalt, somatic movement, authentic relating, yoga, Somatic Experiencing (SE), holistic counseling, and developmental trauma work (NARM). Yet more than any single modality, it is the quality of presence and attunement I bring into the room that shapes how I work. I’m endlessly fascinated by the mystery and complexity of being human, by the layers we carry, the resilience of our nervous systems, and the beauty that emerges when we meet ourselves with raw honesty and profound compassion.
Professional Certification Training
NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM®) Developmental Trauma Therapist Training, Trauma Training Institute UK, United Kingdom, 2026 - 2027
A professional in-person clinical postgraduate program of 2 years.
Drawing from psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment theory, gestalt therapy, and diverse somatic approaches within a relational context, NARM® begins with a different premise to most traditional psychotherapy models. Rather than focusing on what went wrong, NARM® identifies and works towards what clients most want in their lives.
This resource-based approach gently explores the survival patterns that may be interfering with these core desires, while supporting the nervous system’s natural capacity for healing and integration. NARM® recognizes that symptoms and behaviors often represent intelligent adaptations to early relational wounds, rather than pathology to be eliminated.
Somatic Experiencing® Professional Therapist Training, Finland, 2026 - 2028
A professional in-person clinical postgraduate program of 3 years.
Somatic Experiencing (SE™) aims to resolve symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma that accumulate in our bodies and nervous systems. Trauma, from an SE lens, is focused on how it shows up in the nervous system and how that dysregulation impacts life. When we are stuck in patterns of fight, flight, or freeze, SE helps us release, recover, and become more resilient. It is a body-oriented therapeutic model applied in multiple professions and professional settings—psychotherapy, medicine, coaching, teaching, and physical therapy—for healing trauma and other stress disorders from a nervous system lens within a practitioner’s scope of practice. It is based on a multidisciplinary intersection of physiology, psychology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, indigenous healing practices, and medical biophysics and has been clinically applied for more than four decades.

My journey of
becoming
My approach
Our work together is grounded in presence and curiosity. Every session begins with where you are right now emotionally, physically, and energetically. There’s no expectation to come in with the “right” words or a plan. We move at the pace of your body, exploring what’s alive in the moment, and gently tuning into the deeper patterns and sensations that are asking for attention.
At the heart of everything I do is the belief that nothing in you is too much or not enough. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, grief, big transitions, or simply the feeling that you’ve lost touch with yourself, I’m here to walk with you in a grounding, non-judgemental presence, to accompany you with curiosity and compassion, and to explore together the places that take you to your edge so that you can find your confidence and freedom to live fully, exactly as you are.
This is a space where absolutely everything is welcome: grief, joy, numbness, anger, overwhelm, and all the parts that feel hard to look at. I’m here to be with you in all of it. The goal isn’t perfection, but presence. Together, we learn how to meet what’s here with honesty, compassion, and the relaxed confidence of being fully yourself.
If something in you feels ready to move deeper into the truth of your being, I’d be honored to walk with you.
Working with Heidi was my first experience with somatic coaching and it proved to be the right fit. Exploring how long-held beliefs shaped by my environment and childhood were influencing my present helped me understand myself in a new way.
Heidi brings her personal presence into the work while maintaining a solid professional approach. She notices bodily cues quickly and knows how to create a calm, open space for the process to unfold. Our sessions supported my mental wellbeing, and the practices I learned continue to stay with me in daily life.
